Cleaning a well-traveled vessel

Capt. Gary Utterback of Mahana Nai‘a washes his vessel while wrapping up for the day Tuesday afternoon at Maalaea Harbor. Utterback, who has worked on the boat for almost 10 years, had taken a group of snorkelers to Molokini. He said he enjoys his job because he gets to be out on the water and meet visitors. “We get people from all around the world. You learn so much,” he said.
