PAIA'S BUZZING FOR FOURTH FRIDAY
The north shore beach town of Paia will be all abuzz with art, entertainment, shopping and food during its monthly Fourth Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. Stroll the sandy streets to check out artists at Maui Crafts Guild, Maui Hands, Turnbull Fine Art; music at Moana Caf, Grace Beauty and Agua De Flora and Northshore Pilates; and shopping specials, fashion shows and refreshments at other stores and restaurants throughout Paia. LANAI SLACK KEY GUITAR FEST STARTS
The two-day inaugural Lanai Slack Key Guitar Festival kicks off tonight with free performances by Grammy and Na Hoku Hanohano award winners at The Four Seasons Resorts Lanai. Tonight's concert runs from 6 to 9 p.m. at Manele Bay. See Maui Beat.

DIVAS NIGHT OUT AT WAILEA'S SPA GRANDE
Divas need to de-stress, too, and Divas Night Out at Grand Wailea's Spa Grande makes it easy. THE NEVERMINDS ARE BACK IN TOWN
The Neverminds, one of Maui's most rockin' cover bands, return to Charley's in Paia for a concert at 10 p.m. The band features Andy Church on vocals and guitar, Nils Rosenblad on lead guitar, Dave Vickers on bass and Shawn Coullahan on drums. Crowd-favorite covers will come from MGMT, The Black Keys, The Smashing Pumpkins, Buzzcocks, The White Strips, Foo Fighters, Blink-182, Bloodhound Gang, Franz Ferdinand, Modest Mouse, U2, The Killers, The Raconteurs, The Ramones, Oasis, Cracker, Cheap Trick, Nirvana, Lenny Kravitz and The Sex Pistols. Tickets are $10 at the door.

SLACK KEY FESTIVAL CONTINUES ON LANAI
The Lanai Slack Key Guitar Festival continues with free music performances at The Lodge at Koele from 3 to 7 p.m. today. A Slack Key Java Jam with Kevin Brown at Coffee Works will be held 9 to 11 a.m.; and Benny Uyetake will play at Caf 565 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. See Friday's listing.
EFFORT BEHIND NIGHT OF ENTERTAINMENT
Enjoy entertainment for an important effort. Live music, dancing, a silent auction and more will benefit Keep Hawaiian Islands Beautiful, whose mission is to improve the environment and preserve the beauty of Hawaii, during an event from 4:30 to 10 p.m. at Maui Arts & Cultural Center's pavilion. Dance the night away to the sounds of Omar & the Soultones, with their signature soul, R&B, funk and old-time favorites, from 7 to 10 p.m. at Helene Hall, Hana Bay. Presented by Hana Arts, the concert is $5 at the door; refreshments and nonalcoholic drinks will be sold. All proceeds go to support Hana Arts, a community-based nonprofit.
LAHAINA GATEWAY'S FREE MOVIE NIGHT
Don't miss out on free entertainment for the whole family with Lahaina Gateway's Outdoor Movie Nights, featuring a vintage Hawaiian-style cartoon at 7:15 p.m. followed by a full-length docu-drama released in 2010 at 7:30 p.m. Titles of the films are on Lahaina Gateway's website and Facebook and Twitter pages.
