Eye on the bocce ball

Sasha Gomes of Makawao and Eugene Perreira of Kahului competed in bocce ball doubles at the Special Olympics Hawaii 16th annual Aukake Classic at Waiau District Park on Oahu this month. Forty athletes and 62 coaches and chaperons from Maui attended the end-of-summer, two-day event, which included a soccer tournament, a soccer skills competition and bocce ball.
