More sweet cherry bomb music is in store from Upcountry's own Nuff Sedd. The three-time Hawaiian Music Award winners will celebrate their latest album, "Life in a Song," with a CD release party at 6 p.m. Saturday at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center's pavilion and courtyard. Nuff Sedd, the band that dominated the airwaves with hits like "Cherry Bomb," "Life is Perfect" and "Simple Eye," is already generating acclaim across Hawaii and the South Pacific for its latest single, "Bits & Pieces." The album includes 10 tracks of cutting-edge, innovative, original music, which masterfully spans island, reggae, rock, acoustic and R&B genres. Hailing from the slopes of Haleakala, the group, including Joshua Kahula (lead vocals, guitar, songwriter), David Wood (bass guitar, songwriter), Kit Okazaki (tenor, saxophone) and Duane Rosa (drums, percussion), has been performing together for more than 10 years. Tickets to the 21-and-older concert are $15 in advance and $20 at the door, plus applicable fees. For details, www.mauiarts.org.
