KAHULUI - If you're a producer, director, casting agent, location manager, camera operator, actor, extra or anyone else involved in Maui County's film industry, you're invited to an open meeting at 6 p.m. Monday at the Kahului Community Center. Admission is free.
Harry Donenfeld, new head of the Maui County Film Office, will lead the the meeting "to discuss the future of the film industry in Maui County and to gather more information about the types of services, equipment and talent that is available for film productions here," according to a release.
"Maui has had a lot of press lately about being a great location for filming, and we've been getting a lot of inquiries," Donenfeld said. "We need to gather everyone together in one spot and get an idea of what we have that's available for these productions."
