HER STUNNING VOICE belies her years — her commanding stage presence will cull your attention and keep it. Maui’s up-and-coming star Lily Meola, at only 17, is sweeping venues around the island. Fresh off her opening for Makana at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center last weekend, she will perform with her favorite accompanist, pianist Toby Couture, during Mana‘o Radio’s Upcountry Sunday Series, from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Casanova in Makawao. Cover is $7. Among three sets of performers, Lily’s set starts at 3 p.m. Catch her, too, during her regular gigs from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Mondays at Mulligan’s on the Blue in Wailea.
