Police have identified the victim of a fatal motorcycle crash that occurred Monday night as Saul. W. Saunders.
Saunders was traveling north on Mokulele Highway at around 10:55 p.m. when he collided with an industrial truck traveling east on Cane Haul Road across the highway.
The death was Maui County's 15th traffic fatality for 2011, compared to 10 at the same time last year. It was also the sixth fatal crash involving a motorcycle.
