October 6, 2011
The Maui News

First photo: Community Work Day volunteer Daniel Haas heaves a shovelful of soil in Omaopio on Wednesday while a film crew from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (left) films work being done in and around a 4,000-square-foot greenhouse that is being offered for free to the program that teaches nutrition and self-sustainability by planting gardens in schools. The greenhouse is being lent out by property leasee Steven Schorr, chief executive officer of Kona Red and Bioponic Phytoceuticals.
