During his arraignment Tuesday in 2nd Circuit Court, Dudoit pleaded not guilty to the charges, and a Dec. 12 trial date was set. Second Circuit Judge Shackley Raffetto ordered Dudoit not to consume alcohol or illegal drugs and to report for random testing.
Police reported executing a search warrant July 16 at the Kahului Fire Station and finding crystal methamphetamine believed to be associated with Dudoit.
At the time, he was arrested and released pending further investigation.
Fire Chief Jeff Murray said Dudoit, who had worked as a firefighter for at least 21 years, resigned shortly after the incident. Dudoit had been assigned to an engine company at the Kahului station.
