Arthur DeMello, 90, of Kahului, passed away on October 2, 2011, at Hale Makua Kahului. He was born on February 19, 1921 in Paia.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at Ballard Family Mortuary; prayer service 11:00 a.m.; burial 2:00 p.m. at Valley Isle Memorial Park in Haiku.
Arthur retired from Hawaiian Commercial & Sugar Company, Paia Mill. He is survived by his sons, Lawrence (Margaret) DeMello Sr., Thomas DeMello; daughter, Barbara Rames; brother, Edward "Eddie" (Rose) DeMello; sisters, Thelma Boteilho, Frances Tengan, Agnes DeMello; 9 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
