Entertaining the possibility of a cure

Roots Hi vocalist Makamae Auwae, 16, shares a laugh with band mates while performing for those participating in Saturday’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s. Event organizers said 275 walkers participated Saturday with a goal of raising $28,000 for the Alzheimer’s Association’s Aloha Chapter. Money raised will be used to support caregivers and to help find a cure. Also performing with the band Roots Hi were Jansen Opiana, Pekelo Petersen and Anson Quiocho.
