FESTIVALS OF ALOHA CULMINATE IN E. MAUI
The Festivals of Aloha, Maui Nui Style, is moving to East Maui. The annual series of events that celebrate Hawaiian heritage culminates with an activity-packed, weeklong festival in Hana, including Niu (Coconut Bowling), Ulu Maika and poi tasting events today starting at 10 a.m. at Travaasa Hana and other locations. FREE SHOW BY 'SNL'S' VICTORIA JACKSON
Funnywoman Victoria Jackson, who starred for six seasons on "Saturday Night Live," will offer a night of laughs and political satire during a free show at 6:30 p.m. tonight. Presented by TEA Party Maui, the event will be held in the Garden Room of the Kalama Heights Retirement Center in Kihei. Jackson, who speaks at TEA Party events and rallies, is best known for her appearances on SNL's "Weekend Updates" with comedian and conservative talk show host, Dennis Miller.
