Some restaurants have enhanced this promotion, by creating wine pairings to enjoy with your meal at special prices.
For instance, DUO Steak and Seafood at the Four Seasons Resort Maui will offer flights of three wines for $25 on two evenings next week. Wine educator Jim Powlan of Chambers & Chambers will go to each of the tables and talk about where the wines are from and what makes them unique.
On Thursday, Nov. 10, Powlan will pour wines from the Central Coast of California, and on Saturday, Nov. 12, a Taste of Italy.
"Restaurant Week Wailea continues to be a popular promotion for the restaurants and diners," says Bud Pikrone, general manager of the Wailea Community Association. "Earlier this year in May, over $4,800 was raised from Restaurant Week Wailea for the Maui Food Bank. Having it again this November is perfect timing to raise more money for them as the holidays approach."
Each participating restaurant has once again agreed to make a contribution to Maui Food Bank for every meal sold during this fall's promo.
This pre-fixe menu is not valid with other discounts, coupons or promotion being offered at participating restaurants. Diners may contact each restaurant directly for more details. Advance reservations are strongly recommended.
"No tickets, passes or coupons needed - simply make your reservations and enjoy!"
