Vodka lovers and Epicureans alike will want to buy a ticket to Grand Wailea's next event in the signature Toast! dinner series.
Themed "Vicarious Vodkas," the five-course dinner with four vodkas will kick off at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 18. Hosted by Chandra Lam, director of mixology for Southern Wine & Spirits, it will be a fun and tasty event that's sure to sell out fast.
The reception will feature a live raw bar packed with Malpeque, Kumamoto and Kusshi oysters; Kipahulu lobster poke; king crab legs; kim-chee mussels; Keanae taro chips and edamame. Sip fancy cocktails and watch chefs make poke to order by the lobster tanks and the ice sculptures.

"Vodka is all about fun and mingling and so only three courses will be sit-down," says Humu Chef Isaac Bancaco. "It's been a blast brainstorming and getting everyone's ideas."
Chopin vodka will flow with the next course of Kona abalone ceviche with tomato tastings such as fried green tomatoes, yellow-tomato gazpacho and Kula heirloom tomato salsa.
Sip Ketel One next and savor seven-spiced diver scallops and firecracker-sambal cornbread with smokey bacon jam. Absolut Peppar will pair with the duet of Hawaiian nairagi and Tasmanian ocean trout; and for dessert, Belvedere Green Tea Vodka may be imbibed with gourmet dessert selections. Cost is $100, plus tax and gratuity. A portion of the proceeds benefit Maui Visitors Charity Walk.
