Throughout the month of December, anyone who has breakfast at Pineapple Grill at Kapalua Resort may sign up to win breakfast for two every month in 2012.
"That's 12 breakfasts for two and the value is $45 per visit," says Pineapple Grill's Managing Partner Chris Kaiwi. "It does not include gratuity and alcohol. We will announce the winner sometime during the first week in January."
"The main breakfast menu is about scrambles, hash selections and benedicts," says Executive Chef Ryan Luckey. "It's elevated comfort, sophisticated local, with ingredients from Maui farmers and producers whenever possible."

The four different Tee Box Scrambles include Kula corn and bell peppers, for example, or Maui-grown zucchini, eggplant and spinach, as well as goat cheese from Surfing Goat Dairy in lower Kula. Two Kapalua farm-fresh eggs crown all hash selections while paired with items such as kalua pork, corned beef lightened with blonde beer from nearby Maui Brewing Co., or kalbi short ribs.
The two-egg benedicts team up with blackened fresh ahi, local veggies or traditional bacon. You'll also want to try the homemade biscuits with pineapple, strawberry and guava jam that come with the various dishes.
Luckey also offers Hawaiian breakfast favorites such as a hearty loco moco with an 8-ounce Maui Cattle Co. burger; paniolo breakfast with Portuguese sausage; and, for sweet lovers, hot buttery waffles and French toast. Breakfast and lunch are both served from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily.
