FREE W. MAUI SHOW WITH TONGA CHOIR
Enjoy the harmonious voices of the Free Church of Tonga's Choir during a free concert at the Baldwin home lawn from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The men and women of Lahaina's Free Church of Tonga Choir will help get you into the spirit as they sprinkle their performance of traditional cultural songs with a few holiday favorites. The west side is where's it's at this week for Lahaina's version of the Maui Friday Town Parties, weekly street parties around the isle. MAKAWAO PRESENTS 5TH HOLIDAY EVENT
Makawao town presents its fifth annual Holiday Celebration from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Shops will be opening at 10 a.m. with deals and refreshments; restaurants will be offering specials for lunch and dinner. At 11 a.m., the Seabury Marching Band brings Santa into town; from noon to 4 p.m., children may paint the town's largest mural; carolers will sing from noon to 5 p.m.; Piiholo Stables pony rides, photos with Santa, garland making, music and more will be offered from noon to 4 p.m.; KKHS jazz band will play from 3 to 4 p.m.; Kalama Ukulele Group will play from 5:30 to 6 p.m.; Aunty Rose will host the Star Lighting Ceremony at 5:30 p.m.
HYATT'S 'HO'OKIPA' NIGHT HEATING UP
Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa presents its third annual Ho'okipa Reach for the Stars from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. in Hyatt's Grand Ballroom. SING WITH 'SYMPHONY OF CAROLS' IN KIHEI
Maui Choral Arts Association presents its annual Christmas concert, "A Symphony of Carols," at 7 p.m. at Kihei Baptist Chapel. This joyful evening of music includes songs from Africa, West Indies, Pacific islands, Israel, France and Germany - all in their original languages and accompanied by traditional instruments. Favorites such as "Joy to the World," "Let It Snow" and "Rudolph" will be performed, and the audience is invited to sing some of the carols.
