KAPALUA - PGA Championship winner and Tour Rookie of the Year Keegan Bradley has committed to play in next month's Hyundai Tournament of Champions, tournament officials announced Friday.
Bradley is the first major champion from 2011 to commit to the winners-only, season-opening tournament, set for Jan. 6-9 at the Kapalua Plantation Course.
Bradley's rookie season included his first career PGA Tour victory at the HP Byron Nelson Championship in June. The 25-year-old followed that up with his playoff victory at the PGA Championship in August in his first start at a major championship.

Tournament officials also announced that it has received commitments from Webb Simpson, Lucas Glover, Brendan Steele and Jhonattan Vegas.
Simpson had victories at the Deutsche Bank Championship and the Wyndham Championship as well as two other runner-up finishes. He racked up 12 top-10 finishes and finished second in the FedEx Cup and PGA money list.
Glover won the Wells Fargo Championship, Steele won the Valero Texas Open and Vegas won the Humana Challenge.
