HONOLULU - In just her second game with the University of Hawaii women's basketball team, freshman Kalei Adolpho had 15 rebounds and 14 points off the bench to help the Rainbow Wahine win their third straight game, 78-64 over Denver on Monday night at the Stan Sheriff Center.
Adolpho, who joined the team after the end of the volleyball season, played 26 minutes. The center/forward from Molokai also had two assists, a block and two turnovers. She was 5-for-12 from the floor and hit all four of her foul shots.
Kamilah Jackson had 20 points and 10 rebounds, and Kanisha Bello added 14 points for UH (4-7), which rallied from a 32-29 halftime deficit.
Kaetlyn Murdoch led the Pioneers (8-5) with 30 points.
The Rainbow Wahine play UC Davis today.
