HONOLULU - The University of Hawaii men's volleyball team lost 25-21, 25-11, 16-25, 23-25, 15-11 to Lewis on Friday in an Outrigger Invitational match at the Stan Sheriff Center.
Steven Hunt had 17 kills for the 13th-ranked Warriors (2-2), J.P. Marks added 14 and Nick West had 10, with a .444 hitting percentage. Nick Cas-tello had 13 digs. Hawaii had a .155 hitting percentage.
The ninth-ranked Flyers (2-2) got 22 kills from Jay Petty. Ian Karbiener had 11 and Geoff Powell added 10.
Lewis finished the match, which took 2 hours, 47 minutes, with a .339 hitting percentage.
Hawaii will face No. 3 UCLA today.
