HONOLULU - Jeremy Casebeer had 13 kills and Gonzalo Quiroga added 11 as the third-ranked UCLA men's volleyball team swept the University of Hawaii on Saturday night in the final match of the Outrigger Hotels Invitational.
JP Marks had 11 kills to lead the 13th-ranked Warriors in a 25-22, 25-23, 25-23 loss that dropped them to 2-3 on the season.
The Bruins improved to 5-1 and went 3-0 at the Stan Sheriff Center to win the tournament title.
Steven Hunt had 10 kills for UH, but hit just .160. The Warriors had 16 service errors to go with just two aces, and were outblocked 12-7.
Hawaii next gets back to Mountain Pacific Sports Federation play with matches at No. 10 Pepperdine on Friday and Saturday.
