'HAPA BY MOONLIGHT' OUTDOORS AT MACC

HAPA, Barry Flanagan and Ron Kuala'au, will perform a concert, "HAPA by Moonlight," at 7:30 p.m. at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center's Yokouchi Pavilion and Courtyard. For details, see Maui Beat.

THE AIRBORNE TOXIC EVENT SHOW AT MACC

CELLANO PRESENTS 'PASSIONS' CONCERT

Maui's classical duo, Cellano, is presenting a concert at 7:30 p.m. at Kihei Baptist Chapel. The show, dubbed "Passions of the Heart" and featuring cellist Silvina Samuel and pianist Lotus Dancer, will include "romantic selections of Schumann and Franck, the fiery music of de Falla and the feverish tangos of Piazzolla." Suggested donation is $15 for general admission and $10 for students.

STEVE-O STUNTS AND STAND-UP IN S. MAUI

Steve-O of the notoriously popular TV and film comedy "Jackass" will perform a night of stand-up and stunts beginning at 8 at Ocean's Beach Bar and Grill in Kihei. For details, see Backstage.

SOUL TRAIN TOUR TO MAKE ITS LAST STOP

Omar & The Soultones' islandwide Soul Train Tour makes its last stop at Longhi's in Lahaina. The band will play R&B, funk and old-school classics from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. as a benefit for Maui Food Bank. The "Soul Food To Go" event also features DJ Boomshot, along with appearances by Kyra & The Maui Hip Hop Movement. Entry is $5 with canned good or $10 without. Visit islandsoul4.eventbrite.com.

PERFORMERS, MORE AT 2012 TEDXMAUI

TEDxMaui 2012 will feature leading speakers and performers, including W.S. Merwin, Paula Fuga and Maui Taiko, in an all-day educational conference from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at MACC's Castle Theater. MUSIC, ARTS, CRAFTS AT LAHAINA CENTER

An arts and craft fair, with music and food, will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at Lahaina Civic Center. About 75 vendors will offer art, crafts, jewelry, soaps and more. Entry is $1.

FREE STORY FESTIVAL KICKS OFF AT MACC

The MACC presents free storytelling festival "Maui, Hina & Ka Hana Kapa" at 3 p.m. For details, see Backstage.

CHINESE LIONS HAIL YEAR OF THE DRAGON

Au's Shaolin Arts Society and Sifu Ben Seng Au kick off the Year of the Dragon with performances by the beloved Chinese lion dancers around the island. Today's shows include 8:30 a.m. at Wailea Beach Marriott; 10:30 a.m. at Hale Mahaolu Senior Center; 11:30 a.m. at Wharf Cinema Center; noon at Leoda's Bakery and Kitchen; 1 p.m. at Whalers Village Shopping Center; 4 p.m. at Grand Wailea; 6 p.m. at Four Season Resort; and 6:30 p.m. at Wailea Shopping Center.

'DISCOVERING THE CLASSICS' READING

"Discovering the Classics" will be presented by Robert DeVinck, aka Papa Lopaka, at 3:30 p.m. at Kihei Public Library. Papa Lopaka, a writer and English literature scholar, will bring to life "The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn" by dramatically reading the "Classics Illustrated" comic book of the famous novel. A brief discussion about the book and its writer, Mark Twain, will follow. The one-hour program is recommended for children 8 to 12.
