Sabers take over first place

HANA - Raymond Ledesma scored Maui High School's first two goals in a 5-0 victory over Hana on Friday, which moved the Sabers into first place in the Maui Interscholastic League Division I boys soccer standings.

Ledesma scored in the second and 10th minutes. Otto Wolfgramm's goal in the 36th gave Maui High (8-2-2) a 3-0 halftime lead. Sonny Fulton added a goal in the 46th minute, and Jared Kapisi capped the scoring in the 61st.

The Dragons fell to 0-9-0.
