Wailea Coffee Bean store to open today

WAILEA - The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf store will begin serving customers today at the Shops at Wailea, according to an announcement from the Sullivan Family of Companies, which said it was opening the specialty coffee and tea retailer.

The 1,145-square-foot store is on the ground floor of the Wailea shopping center. Inside and outdoor seating is available.

Today's grand opening will include free food and beverage samplings and prize giveaways. The store is open daily from 5:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.

It is Hawaii's 15th Coffee Bean store, which sells "California born and brewed" coffee, ice-blended drinks, tea lattes and drinks for children. Other stores are on Oahu, the Big Island and Kauai. A second Maui store is scheduled to open in 2013 at the Kehalani Village Center in Wailuku, the announcement said.
