WAILUKU – Funky, smooth jazz will SWEEP the streets of Central Maui, thanks to the stylings of SLAM! featuring David Choy and Kelly Covington. The acclaimed local band — including David Choy’s saxes (from left), George Tavoularis’ keyboard, Alan Villaren’s guitar and vocals, Michael Kennedy’s drums, Jay Molina’s bass and vocals, and Kelly Covington’s vocals — performs regularly at Stella Blues Cafe in Kihei and can be caught at various isle venues.
