KIHEI - A Powerful Tools for Caregivers class series starts up in Kihei on Feb. 22 at Kalama Heights Retirement Community.
The class series of six sessions is designed for people who care for a parent, spouse or friend or someone living in a care facility or off-island. The class is designed to reduce stress, to improve self-confidence and communication of feelings, to help balance lives and to make tough decisions and to locate helpful resources.
The Kihei classes run Wednesdays from Feb. 22 to March 28 from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
The class is free, but class size is limited; preregistration is required.
