'BLACK GRACE' FREE SCREENING AT KSM

Kamehameha Schools Maui will be screening the film "Black Grace: From Cannon's Creek to Jacob's Pillow" at 6 tonight at its Kula campus. The event is free and open to the public and light refreshments will be served. The film tells the story of Black Grace, a dance troupe of Maori and Pacific Islander men, that rises from a small town in New Zealand to the pinnacle of the international modern dance world with the Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival. 'BROADWAY BOUND' ON MAUI PREP STAGE

BAD BOYS OF DANCE AT CASTLE THEATER

Be amazed by the amazing, athletic "hybrids" of dance, who cover everything from ballet to tap and hip-hop, with Rasta Thomas' Dance Stars with Bad Boys of Dance at 7:30 tonight at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center's Castle Theater. Founded by international ballet star and original bad boy Rasta Thomas, the company, comprised of the most talented and versatile young male dancers in the world, has performed more than 500 shows worldwide. SOURCE FESTIVAL KICKS OFF TODAY

SOURCE Interactive Arts Festival celebrates its fifth year during events, with the theme "Circus of Dreams," starting Friday through Monday at Camp Keanae in East Maui. MEET ARTISTS WITH MAUI OPEN STUDIOS

Weekend Two of the 2012 Maui Open Studios kicks off today and continues Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at locations in north and Upcountry Maui. The self-guided tours bring viewers directly to the doorsteps of local artists and artisans. A highlight of this weekend includes studio tours of Hui No'eau Visual Arts Center in Makawao. 21ST SWEETHEART AFFAIR HEATS UP

Heat up the night with The 21st Sweetheart Affair from 6 to 10 p.m. Saturday at The Royal Lahaina Resort. MANA'O RADIO MARDI GRAS PARTY IN KIHEI

Spice up your Fat Tuesday with Mana'o Radio's benefit Mardi Gras party from 6 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. at Stella Blues in Kihei. The event features Willie K and his Warehouse Blues Band, among an array of local music including the S. E. Kalama Ukulele Jazz Band, along with a silent auction, a costume contest and prizes. Minimum donation is $14; dinner packages are available. The event helps support the noncommercial Mana'o Radio, which relies on public funding.
