Dorothy Jean Silva, 79, of Makawao, died February 8, 2012, at her home.
Casual services will be held February 18, 2012, at HaliiMaile Annex, with visitation between 11 am and 1pm.
Nakamura Mortuary is assisting with the arrangements.
Mrs. Silva was born on November 27, 1932, in Washington D.C. She was the daughter of John Barrett and Dorothy (Grossman) DeSpears.
She was a retired Certified Nurse's Aid.
She leaves behind her husband of 25 years, Antone F. Silva, Jr.
She is survived by two daughters, Rebecca W. Ignacio (Roland G. Ignacio), and Colleen K. O'Hara-Rosa (George A. Rosa), 6 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild.
Mrs. Silva loved to sew, read, garden, and spend time with family and friends. She was an avid animal lover.
