Hiroshi "Sonny" Ueda, 88, of Kahului, died on January 30, 2012 in Wailuku, Maui.
Private services were held by the family.
Mr. Ueda was born on March 7, 1923 in Hana, Maui.
He was a blacksmith with Hawaiian Commercial & Sugar Company.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia C. Ueda; sons, Richard Ueda and Harvey Ueda; brother, Nobuo Ueda; and sister, Doris Furukawa.
