Kihei – Jam on the north shore with Mardi Gras-flavored arts, entertainment, food and store specials during Paia’s Fourth Friday Town Party from 6 to 9 p.m. A highlight of the block bash is a performance by Marty Dread and The Marty Dread Band, along with DJ Boomshot, at 9:30 p.m. at Charley’s. Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 at the door. Dance to the sounds of DJ Sweetbeats and DJ Kidd while viewing fashions by Everything Rozy and jewelry by the Tanzanian women at the “Heart of Africa” benefit fashion show at 8 p.m. at Thee Salonz.
