The Maui News

This week the Maui Police Department and Maui Crime Stoppers ask for the public's assistance in identifying two men who are wanted for questioning in a second-degree theft and fraudulent use of credit card investigation; and a woman sought in the theft of several items from a Kihei store.

In early February, two Caucasian men entered the Safeway store in Kihei and purchased groceries with a stolen credit card.

In a separate case, on Feb. 7, a Caucasian woman entered 808 Clothing Co. in Kihei and stole numerous items of clothing. On Feb. 8, the same woman returned and again stole several items of clothing.

She is described as being 30 to 35 years old, approximately 5 feet, 5 inches to 5 feet, 6 inches tall and 150 to 160 pounds, with possibly dyed blond hair.

Anyone with information concerning the identities of the two men in the surveil-lance photos or the woman in the surveillance photos is asked to call Maui Crime Stoppers at 242-6966. Neighbor Island residents can call toll free at (888) 242-6966. Callers remain anonymous and are given a code number.

Maui Crime Stoppers pays cash rewards of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and indictment of people responsible for felony crimes; the recovery of stolen property or seizure of illegal drugs in felony cases; or the capture of felony fugitives.

Consider all wanted people as dangerous. Do not ap-proach, follow or take other action that could put one in danger.
