Oahu single-family home sales higer
HONOLULU - February was a good month for Oahu's single-family housing market.
The Honolulu Board of Realtors reported that last month saw a significant increase in the number of sales and the median sales price compared to February last year. According to statistics released Wednesday, the median sales price increased 9.6 percent from $570,000 to $625,000. There were 217 single-family homes sold, a 19.9 percent increase from 181.
However, condominium sales last month dropped 23.1 percent from 295 to 227, compared to the same period last year. The median condo sales price fell 1.6 percent, from $320,000 to $315,000.
