The award-winning Kapalua Spa is celebrating healthy living during National Wellness Week from Monday to March 25.
"Join us for a week of exciting events and fitness activities centered on getting you fit and healthy!" says Cecilia Hercik, regional director of spa operations.
The kickoff to the week's programming is the Wellness Fair & Expo from 1 to 4 p.m. Monday. It is complimentary and open to the public. Learn all about raw foods, stand-up paddling, zumba and more.

Expo booths will be scattered about the expansive facility, which is situated on five acres near the Ritz residences on Kapalua Bay.
"We'll feature local health/wellness-related brands from energy drinks, proteins, oatmeal, other health and wellness- related products and services," says Hercik, who spa-goers will remember from her many years as director of Spa Grande at Grand Wailea.
"During the Expo, Kapalua Spa will sign up participants for our ongoing competitions in weight loss, training and fitness buddy teams. Fun games, fitness demos and contests will be held."
For instance, guess how many calories or fat grams are in items of food. Learn nutritional information about everyday items such as sandwiches, plate lunches and more.
"We'll give away prizes such as a free personal training sessions," says Hercik. "Guests are encouraged to register for email updates, spa tours and complimentary newsletters by our trained staff of professionals."
The Spa Cafe & Juice Bar is open daily from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. with your choice of freshly squeezed juices in a number of combinations as well as cappuccinos, lattes and a host of hot and iced coffees.
"But our facility opens at 5:30 a.m. for early risers to work out and at 9 a.m. for spa treatments," says Hercik. "You may also fill up on fruit cups, whole fruits, bagels and cream cheese, pastries and acai bowls packed with fruit and topped with granola."
Those getting a treatment may enjoy lunch by the infinity pool. Signature items include Greek and Caesar salads, turkey-pesto wraps and more.
