HONOLULU - The University of Hawaii baseball team had its three-game winning streak snapped Friday, managing just three hits and committing four errors in a 3-0 loss to San Francisco at Les Murakami Stadium.
Shortstop Piikea Kitamura committed two errors as the Rainbows fell to 12-7.
Kyle Zimmer pitched a shutout as the Dons improved to 10-9. Zimmer (1-1) struck out 11 batters.
Jarrett Arakawa (2-1) took the loss, allowing three unearned runs in six innings.
Max Duval was 2-for-4 with a double for UH.
The teams are to play again today, then finish their four-game series Sunday - the Rainbows will then make their first road trip of the year, facing Portland and Gonzaga.
