The following students with ties to Maui County have earned academic honors at colleges and universities. Unless otherwise noted, the grade-point averages are on a 4.0 scale.
FOREST GROVE, Ore. - Three students with Maui ties have made the fall semester Dean's List at Pacific University.
The students are Alexander Collias and Kimberly Kunishige of Kihei and Dane Lum Ho of Makawao.
The make the Dean's List, a student must earn a term grade-point average of at least 3.7 and complete 12 or more graded hours.

SEATTLE - Victoria Rae Puaku'u Loewen of Wailuku has made the fall semester Dean's List at Seattle Pacific University.
To make the Dean's List, a student has to maintain a 3.5 or higher grade-point average with at least 12 credits.
