KEOKEA - St. John's Episcopal Church announced its Holy Week and Easter service schedule for next week.
The schedule follows:
Palm Sunday, on Sunday, 7:30 a.m., Liturgy of the Palms and Holy Eucharist, beginning in the church courtyard; 9:30 a.m., Liturgy of the Palms and Holy Eucharist, beginning at Keokea Park.
Morning prayer, Monday and Tuesday, 8:30 a.m.; quiet time, 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., both days.
Healing and Holy Eucharist, Wednesday, 8:30 a.m.; quiet time, 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.
Maundy Thursday, 7 p.m.; Holy Eucharist and Commemoration of Last Supper followed by Agape' Meal Maundy Thursday, 8 p.m.; Watch-Night Vigil through the night until noon April 6.
Good Friday, April 6, noon, Good Friday Liturgy.
On Easter, April 8, there will be a Great Vigil and First Holy Eucharist of Easter at 6:30 a.m. The Easter Brunch with Easter Bonnet Parade is expected to begin at around 8 a.m., followed by the Festival Holy Eucharist and Sunday School at 9:30 a.m.
An Easter Egg Hunt is planned for children up to 12 years old following the 9:30 a.m. service.
