HONOLULU - The University of Hawaii men's volleyball team lost for the 12th time in its last 13 matches on Friday, falling to Long Beach State 25-19, 25-22, 25-21 at the Stan Sheriff Center.
Steven Hunt had 18 kills to lead the 14th-ranked Warriors (7-17, 4-15 Mountain Pacific Sports Federation), who were outhit .326 to .179.
Srdjan Nadazdin led the No. 9 Beach (12-12, 7-10) with 11 kills.
The teams play again today.
