WAIPAHU, Oahu - Kiffmann Taekwondo and Maui Taekwondo combined for 90 medals, including 48 golds, in the USA Taekwondo state championships on March 24 at Waipahu High School.
Kiffmann Taekwondo won 50 medals, 36 of them gold.
In the black-belt division, Justin Koja won golds in qualifier sparring and exhibition sparring, and a bronze in poomsae, Kathryn Kiffmann won golds in qualifier sparring and poomsae, Alexander Macaraeg won a poomsae gold and a qualifier sparring silver, Jim Campbell won a gold in qualifier sparring and a bronze in poomsae, Camryn Henry, Joshua Kepler, Christian Sialana and William Kepler won golds in qualifier sparring, Gunter Kiffmann won a gold in poomsae, Miles Kiffmann won a gold in qualifier sparring and Kai Nishibayashi-Rincon won bronzes in qualifier sparring and poomsae.

In the red-belt division, Ronson Ishikawa, Isaac Owades and Aysha Nishibayashi-Rincon won golds in qualifier sparring and exhibition sparring, with Owades adding an exhibition sparring silver and Nishibayashi-Rincon a poomsae bronze. Burt Riveira won golds in qualifier sparring and poomsae. Makoa Palos and Tristan Kanekoa won qualifier sparring golds.
In the blue-belt division, Deven Bio won golds in qualifier sparring and exhibition sparring, Jaden Pladera won a qualifier sparring gold, Tyler Papagayo won silvers in qualifier sparring and poomsae and Antone Sanches won silvers in qualifier sparring and exhibition sparring.
In the green-belt division, Cassie Kepler, Meili Jahja and Jerome Butac won golds in qualifier sparring, exhibition sparring and poomsae - Butac won an additional silver in exhibition sparring. Jerico San Agustin won a gold in qualifier sparring and a silver in poomsae, and Kristian Roque won a gold in poomsae and a silver in qualifier sparring.
Maui Taekwondo had 12 golds among its 40 medals.
In the black-belt division, Edwin Estabillo won golds in poomsae and sparring, Jasmine Casey won a gold in pairs poomsae, a silver in poomsae and a bronze in sparring, Ian Miguel won a gold in pairs poomsae, a silver in sparring and a bronze in poomsae, Megan Snipes won a gold in poomsae and a silver in sparring, Krysteene Estabillo won a silver in sparring and bronzes in poomsae and pairs poomsae, Kawika Bras won a silver in sparring and a bronze in poomsae, Devin Galloway won bronzes in poomsae and pairs poomsae and Camille Bosque won a silver in poomsae and the Christine Treakle Award for "excellence in taekwondo and indomitable spirit overcoming great obstacles."
In the red-belt division, Gabriel Agmata won golds in sparring, poomsae, and pairs poomsae, Jillian Crawford won gold in pairs poomsae, silver in poomsae and bronze in sparring, Bradley Bass and Colin Crawford won silvers in sparring and poomsae and Caleb Bosque won bronzes in sparring and poomsae.
In the blue-belt division, Alex Ballard won a gold in sparring, Kylee Bass won silvers in sparring and poomsae and Caleb Alconcel won a silver in sparring.
In the green-belt division, Aubrey Greene won a gold in poomsae and a silver in sparring, Quincee Tanaka won a gold in sparring and Angelica Serpieri won two silvers in sparring and one in poomsae.
