Nancy Chun, 87, of Hali'imaile, died March 26, 2012 at Kula Hospital.
Family visitation will begin at 9am Friday April 6 at Nakamura Mortuary followed by friends visitation at 10am. Services are scheduled for 11am with burial to follow at 2pm at Maui Memorial Park.
Nakamura Mortuary is assisting with arrangements.
Mrs. Chun was born March 3, 1925 in Ha'iku. She was the daughter of Rebecca Lonokailua Bak and John Bak. As a young girl she lived with her grandparents Lonokailua Kailua and Peke Kailipalauli in Makena.
She was predeceased by her husband, David Chun.
She is survived by two sons, Llewellyn (Karen) Chun and Colin (Sandy) Chun; a granddaughter, Cayley Chun; a brother, John Bak Jr. and five sisters, Jennie Ito,Rose Quindica, Victoria Keawekane, Lillian Haina and Shirley Streck.
Nancy was active in the Kaulanapueo Church of Huelo and enjoyed bowling with her friends. She was a terrific cook whose squid luau was a favorite at family gatherings.
