Dive into themes of serenity and peace during Anna Good's "Water Gardens" collection debut. The painter will unveil her latest work with a reception from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday at Images Fine Art Gallery in Lahaina.
"The 'Water Gardens' collection focuses on themes of serenity and peace, koi ponds and lush tropical vegetation, the overall balance in nature," according to a gallery release.
Good, a leading painter on Maui for more than 33 years, is recognized for her palette knife impressionism.

Anna Good’s latest work will be on display at Images in Lahaina.
During the featured artist event Friday, she will be painting in the gallery, as well as offering a special gift with purchase for collectors.

"Fun with Feathers" by Ellen Levinsky is on display through May 6 at Lahaina Arts Society's Banyan Tree Gallery. This artist combines parrot, peacock, pheasant and other colorful bird feathers to create designs, pictures and jewelry.
