I wanted to let the people of Maui know what a great job the Maui Fire Department and pilots Don Shearer and Pete Vorhees did on Stable Road in Sprecklesville.
I witnessed it firsthand. They saved the houses toward the end of the road. They also made sure nobody was in danger by getting everyone away safely.
