WAILUKU - A fire that burned a Wailuku office left $10,000 in damage to the building's structure and a $1,000 loss to its contents, said Fire Services Chief Lee Mainaga.
Kahului and Kihei firefighters responded to the alarm at 5:50 p.m. Monday at 1972 Wells St., fire officials said. The offices were unoccupied at the former wooden home converted to an office.
Firefighters arriving at the scene found a backroom on fire along with an exterior wall and roof.
The fire's cause was undetermined, Mainaga said.
