Tsuruo Kawamura, 78, of Kahului, Hawaii, died on April 9, 2012 at Maui Memorial Medical Center.
Visitation will be held 9:00 a.m. on Friday, April 13, 2012 at Kahului Union Church; with a service at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be 2:00 p.m. at Maui Memorial Park. The family requests aloha or casual attire.
Nakamura Mortuary is assisting with the arrangements.
Mr. Kawamura was born on December 28, 1933 in Puunene, Maui, Hawaii.
He is survived by his wife, Ethel Kawamura; sons, Kevin (Vanessa) Kawamura and Kerry Kawamura; and 2 grandchildren.
