Valley Isle Keiki Fest

KAHULUI – The Valley Isle Keiki Fest will brighten up the Great Lawn of the University of Hawaii-Maui College from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday. A low-cost event promoting a positive, safe, and healthy environment for Hawaii’s keiki, it is presented by the Kiwanis Club of the Valley Isle, in partnership with Boys & Girls Clubs of Maui, Maui 4-H Organization, UH-MC, and the County of Maui Department of Parks & Recreation. Entertainers include Maui Zumba, Marty Dread, Hoopnatyze, Maui Cheer Babes & Hawaii All Stars Cheerleaders, Charter Dance Company, and Zenshin Daiko. Admission to the Keiki Fest, games, prizes, bouncing castles, and entertainment are all free Free additional activities include food demonstrations by Maui 4-H Organization, a bike safety video and challenge, whose participants (ages 7-9) will be eligible to win a bicycle and safety gear. Also on tap are keiki ID, face painting, balloon sculptures/animals, a car show, vision screening, and hands-on activities at all informational booths.
