Travaasa Hana rewards tax-weary diners with relief

Close the books on 2011 and toast to a fresh start at Travaasa Hana hotel with a special 15-course wine pairing dinner on Sunday.

You may also choose from a selection of $15 spa-and-wellness add-ons, all designed to help you "kiss the April 15 tax-filing deadline good-bye."

"Tax season can be stressful, so we're offering some tax relief to help people recharge and reward themselves," says Karyn Johnson, the program manager at Travaasa Hana.

File Sunday as the date because chefs at Kauiki Restaurant will prepare "The 15," a lavish 15-course family-style feast.

The Pacific Rim menu will showcase Chef Barry Villiarimo's top picks from the culinary world, including fresh ingredients such as ahi, scallops and lobster as well as caviar, lamb, decadent chocolate truffles and much more.

The cost for "The 15" dinner is $150 with wine pairings or $90 without wine pairings, plus tax or gratuity. And, you won't need your CPA's approval.
