WAILUKU - Joshua Nobriga pitched a three-hit shutout for the Baldwin High School baseball team in a 5-0 victory over Maui High on Saturday at Maehara Stadium in the final game of the Maui Interscholastic League regular season.
Nobriga struck out seven batters as the Bears, who had clinched the league's Division I regular-season title on Friday, improved to 11-1 with a sweep of the three-game series.
Patrick Burrows singled home two runs in Baldwin's four-run third inning. Daulton Cabacungan was 2-for-3 with an RBI double, and scored a run.
The Sabers dropped to 7-5.
