KAPALUA - Maui Prep-aratory Academy will hold its third annual Tom Rosenquist Legacy Golf Tournament, aka "The TOM," on April 29 at the Kapalua Bay Course.
The tournament, held in memory of Rosenquist, a Maui Prep founder and avid golfer, serves as a benefit for the school's students.
The cost is $195 per player, or $780 for a foursome. The costs to sponsor a hole are $250 and $350. Last year's event raised more than $58,000, according to a press release.
Registration will start at 11:30 a.m., along with a catered lunch donated by Cilantro's Mexican Grill. A shotgun start for the scramble-format event will follow at 1:30 p.m.
The tournament will include five hole-in-one contests to win a car, sponsored by Jim Falk's Valley Isle Motors. Other prizes also will be awarded to participants.
An awards and cocktail party and an auction will follow the tournament at The Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua, with food donated by Roy's Kaanapali, the Pineapple Grill, The Plantation House, Sansei and The Ritz-Carlton.
