Seabury Hall took the Maui Interscholastic League Division II regular-season baseball championship by defeating Molokai 13-0 in five innings on Wednesday in a tiebreaker game at Maehara Stadium.
The Spartans' Kalei Hendershot and Kaleb Palmer combined on a five-hitter - Hendershot permitted two hits in four innings, striking out two batters, and also went 3-for-4 with a double and two runs.
Seabury (6-1) and Lanai will meet today with a berth in the league tournament final at stake. Molokai (5-2) will play St. Anthony in the other semifinal game.
The Spartans' Tyler Gentil was 3-for-3, missing the cycle by a home run, and scored four runs. Slayde Omura was also 3-for-3, with a double and two runs scored.
n ST. ANTHONY 11, LANAI 5: At Maui High, Jaxson Stinger went 4-for-5 with two runs as St. Anthony won the D-II regular-season third-place tiebreaker game.
Dylan Vega and Nick Asuncion each had a pair of hits for the Trojans (2-5). Vega scored twice.
Kyle Ganer-Eskaran had two hits for Lanai (1-6).
* KAMEHAMEHA?MAUI 6, LAHAINALUNA 2: At Mae-hara Stadium, Kevin Goo struck out five batters and walked none in a complete game, and also scored a run, as Kamehameha Maui (5-8) advanced to a Division I semifinal game against Baldwin.
Chase Newton had two hits for the Warriors.
J.R. Kenolio-Dusenberry of Lahainaluna permitted five hits in a six-inning complete game.
The Lunas finish 3-10.
