Pet of the Week

April 22, 2012
The Maui News

Aloha, I'm Sweetie, No. 22B, a loving little girl who was dropped off in the night with no note in March. Why they didn't want a Doberman-mix puppy, no one knows, but now that it's spring there have been more and more puppies showing up this way every day. Now that I'm not the baby girl that was left behind, I am afraid that no one will want me. If only they could know how fun I can be; I'm learning to sit, love to play chase with my ball, and I love to learn with treats. I'm hoping that someone will give me the chance to show them just how well I live up to my name, Sweetie. All of us puppies who grow up at the shelter learn an important thing at a young age, and that's just how important getting and giving love is. So come on down and let us show you!
