I am not making this up. It appeared in The Maui News on April 19 on Page B12. It comes from the public notice of the Department of Transportation talking about the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise program.
"The proposed goals and the irrational are available for public inspection."
Irrational indeed. The definition I understand of irrational is illogical, senseless, stupid or insane. Yes, the Department of Transportation is at it once again. They want our input?
