I stand behind Netra Halperin for South Maui's state House representative. Netra is progressive. She gets out in the community and she's not afraid to shoot from the hip and tell it like it really is - not with spin or evasiveness as do many candidates.
I know that Netra will fight for what she believes in. She will fight for South Maui. It is critical to support her in the primary election on Aug. 11. South Maui deserves to finally have effective representation. Ms. Halperin is the only Democrat who can unseat the Republican in the general election.
